Good atmosphere and good food

We were in a group in the cozy Kota. The food was unbelievably good, a huge charcoal pan and the quality was super! Something for everyone, delicious, delicious, delicious! The service top notch! Always happy, we will think about it for a long time and we definitely recommend it!

Room was clean, tidy, spacious with a good mattress. Breakfast plentiful and good. Versatile menu, salad in the evening was very good. I would love to come back to the Taunus

Have been there a few times. I can only recommend it.

The hotel is for me an upscale "fitter hotel" in a quiet location, there are enough parking spaces available. The rooms (I had two different (1 + 10) in the two weeks) are in themselves in order and clean. The beds could but tolerate new mattresses. Everything in room 11 is very small. Room 1 is OK, all with TV and bathroom. Breakfast is from 6.15 a.m. and has everything you need (freshly prepared coffee, fresh sausage and cheese, boiled egg, cereal lick, bread rolls (baked) and bread etc. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Thursdays, on other days you can eat and drink in a cozy atmosphere (from 5 p.m.)

After we drove past the restaurant on the way home dozens of times, we finally had dinner here tonight. The service is very friendly, warm, attentive and accommodating. The salad with the schnitzel was delicious, fresh, different components and the dressing was very tasty. The main course also convinced holistically. Perfectly seasoned, tender, delicious meat, beautifully presented. The overall package absolutely convinced us and we will be happy to come back often. ♥ ️

Wanted to eat schnitzel. Frankfurter schnitzel with green sauce tastes good. Creamy schnitzel as good as well. Price and portion could be the ratio better. 2 persons each 1 food and 1 drink and 1 person dessert equal to 45 euros. End of the song 2 people not full. Schnitzel for 14.90 euros way too expensive for the portion on the plate. Sorry German house but the price for schnitzel day is the maximum of feelings and would only ever cost.

Been here for a long time and found it good! Very tasty food and friendly service. I had the steak from the beefer which was really great! The other dishes also looked very tasty. I'm deducting one star because I think the ambience could be freshened up a little. The sanitary facilities, for example, need to be renovated. Everything was still very clean and well-kept! Conclusion: wonderful food, I'll be happy to come back here!

We went there today for a hike and lunch. The hiking or walking trails are very beautiful. Partly farm roads, partly forest and field paths. There are plenty of parking spaces at the restaurant and the hotel. After 2 hours we returned. Very nice service, with whom you can also chat for a moment. The food was very tasty and well presented. The salad can be recommended, as well as the rump steak. We were very satisfied and will definitely visit the restaurant again on one of our next hikes.

This is a wonderful jewel in the Hochtaunus Mountains, with plenty of hiking paths. It is nestled halfway up the Grosser Feldberg, on the old Roman Limes boundary, in a nature preserve. The Gasthaus is warm, friendly, excellent food, and very reasonably priced. The specialties are excellent, and the banquet hall and musical events are most enjoyable.
